Brown Leopard Knit Sweater Fits Jellycat 18cm Plush

A brown knitted sweater worked in a black leopard pattern, ribbed at the collar, cuffs and hem. The two browns sit close together, which is what gives the spots their depth, a single flat brown behind black would read as a grid rather than as fur. It is the only animal print in the whole range, and it wants a plain plush underneath and nothing else added on top. As a doll jumper it is warm enough for a genuinely cold room. Wash it flat, press the water out between two towels, and reshape it as it dries.

Will it fit your plush?

Measure your friend from the top of the head to the bottom, sitting or standing as they normally do. This one is cut for a plush about 18cm tall. It is designed around Jellycat proportions and fits other plush of the same height just as well.

Getting it on

Pull it over the head first, then guide each arm through. The knit has enough give to pass over a wide head and spring back. Nothing here is tight enough to squash a soft plush, and nothing is loose enough to slide off.

Looking after it

Hand wash cool and never wring the knit. Press the water out between two towels, reshape it on a flat surface and let it dry there, hanging a knit while it is heavy with water is what stretches it out of shape.
