Jellycat Fleur Fairy Dahlia

Jellycat Fleur Fairy Dahlia arrives as a pink character, 23 cm from base to ear tip, soft the whole way through.

The piece itself

Pick Fleur Fairy Dahlia up and the weight is the first thing you notice: enough to feel substantial, not enough to be awkward in a child’s arms. The colourway runs pink and green, and the pile is brushed in one direction so it catches the light.

How big it is

The measurement is 23 cm. Worth knowing to the centimetre rather than roughly, because our outfits are listed by the height they are cut for and a few centimetres is the difference between a dress that closes and one that does not. Measure base to head, and the size guide will tell you the rest.

Where it sits in the Jellycat range

Fleur Fairy Dahlia is part of Fleur Fairy. If you have one already, the rest of that range is the obvious place to look next, and the centimetre sizes overlap often enough that an outfit bought for one will usually fit another. We keep the range listed together for exactly that reason, and the size guide has the full table of what fits what.

Made from, and looking after it

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Nothing here needs special products. Warm water and a mild detergent are what the fabric was finished with in the first place, and anything stronger works against it.

Suitability

Filed under fantasy and collectible, and chosen here for a birthday and a collector more than anything else. It reads as considered rather than expensive, which is usually the harder thing to get right in a gift.

Why we stock it

A Flying Wish stocks Jellycat plush alongside the outfits we design and make ourselves. Every piece is designed with purpose, made to fit many beloved plush companions, and the two halves of the shop are meant to be used together. Fleur Fairy Dahlia is one of the plush our outfits are cut to fit, and the size guide sets out which pieces work with which band.
