Jellycat Curvie Sheep Dog

At 24 cm, Jellycat Curvie Sheep Dog is a cream dog built to be carried rather than shelved.

What it is like to hold

Curvie Sheep Dog has the quality that is hard to photograph and obvious in the hand, which is evenness. No thin patches, no hard filling anywhere, and a colourway of cream and grey carried right through to the underside rather than stopping where it stops being visible.

Measurements and fit

Curvie Sheep Dog stands 24 cm. We give the exact figure on every plush for one reason: it is the only number that tells you whether something will fit it. Our garment listings carry the same kind of figure, so the two can be read directly against each other without converting anything.

Where it sits in the Jellycat range

The Curvie range is where Curvie Sheep Dog comes from. Ranges matter more than they might seem to with Jellycat, because the character of a piece is set as much by the family it belongs to as by the animal it is. Buying within one range is the reliable way to end up with a shelf that looks deliberate rather than accumulated, and our outfits are sized to follow.

Fabric and washing

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Nothing here needs special products. Warm water and a mild detergent are what the fabric was finished with in the first place, and anything stronger works against it.

Who it is for

Filed under everyday companion, and chosen here for a birthday and no particular reason at all more than anything else. It reads as considered rather than expensive, which is usually the harder thing to get right in a gift.

Where this sits in our shop

A Flying Wish began with outfits and grew into the plush that wear them. Curvie Sheep Dog is stocked here because it fits that idea, and because the pieces we design are made to last as long as the companion they are made for.
