Jellycat Bashful Terrier

Jellycat Bashful Terrier is a cream dog from Jellycat, and it stands 31 cm tall.

What it is like to hold

Bashful Terrier is made from the dense, brushed fabric Jellycat uses across its animals. The colouring is cream, deepest along the back and lighter underneath, which is what gives the shape its softness in photographs and in a dim room.

How big it is

Bashful Terrier measures 31 cm. Heights are taken from the base to the top of the head rather than the tip of an ear, which is the figure the size guide lists, so a shelf or a cot space can be judged before it arrives.

The collection it belongs to

Bashful Terrier is part of Bashful. If you have one already, the rest of that range is the obvious place to look next, and the centimetre sizes overlap often enough that an outfit bought for one will usually fit another. We keep the range listed together for exactly that reason, and the size guide has the full table of what fits what.

Materials and care

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Cool water and a little time are all it asks. Avoid wringing it out, since that is what distorts the seams, and press the water out with a towel instead.

Choosing it as a gift

As a gift it works for a birthday and no particular reason at all, and it belongs to the everyday companion side of what we stock. If you are buying for someone who already has one or two, the range it comes from is worth a look for something that will sit beside them.

About A Flying Wish

Our outfits are cut, sewn and finished by us, not bought in, and the plush we stock are chosen because our pieces fit them. Bashful Terrier is one of those. If you are buying both at once, the centimetre band on this page is the number the garment listings are matched against.
