Jellycat Bashful Red Love Heart Bunny

A red bunny at 31 cm, Jellycat Bashful Red Love Heart Bunny belongs to the part of Jellycat’s range made for holding.

What it is like to hold

Pick Bashful Red Love Heart Bunny up and the weight is the first thing you notice: enough to feel substantial, not enough to be awkward in a child’s arms. The colourway runs red, and the pile is brushed in one direction so it catches the light.

How big it is

The measurement is 31 cm. Worth knowing to the centimetre rather than roughly, because our outfits are listed by the height they are cut for and a few centimetres is the difference between a dress that closes and one that does not. Measure base to head, and the size guide will tell you the rest.

Part of the Bashful range

Bashful Red Love Heart Bunny is part of Bashful. If you have one already, the rest of that range is the obvious place to look next, and the centimetre sizes overlap often enough that an outfit bought for one will usually fit another. We keep the range listed together for exactly that reason, and the size guide has the full table of what fits what.

Materials and care

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Kept out of direct sunlight the colour holds for years. Fading is the one kind of wear that cannot be undone, and a sunny windowsill does it faster than handling ever will.

Choosing it as a gift

As a gift it works for Valentine’s Day and a birthday, and it belongs to the everyday companion side of what we stock. If you are buying for someone who already has one or two, the range it comes from is worth a look for something that will sit beside them.

Where this sits in our shop

A Flying Wish is a small operation and it shows in the useful way: orders are packed by the people who made the garments, and the plush, Bashful Red Love Heart Bunny among them, are checked rather than shipped straight from a box. The outfits are ours, the plush are Jellycat’s, and the sizing between them is the part we take care of.
