Jellycat Bashful Pink Bunny Huge

Jellycat Bashful Pink Bunny is a pink bunny from Jellycat, and it stands 51 cm tall.

The piece itself

What distinguishes Bashful Pink Bunny is the texture. It is the same everywhere you touch it, with no hard seams and no stiff patches, and the colourway of pink is matched across the ears and paws rather than left to chance at the cutting stage.

How big it is

The measurement is 51 cm. Worth knowing to the centimetre rather than roughly, because our outfits are listed by the height they are cut for and a few centimetres is the difference between a dress that closes and one that does not. Measure base to head, and the size guide will tell you the rest.

Where it sits in the Jellycat range

Within Jellycat’s catalogue Bashful Pink Bunny belongs to Bashful, and that is the useful thing to know when you are choosing a second one. A range shares its finish and its proportions, so pieces from the same family photograph well together and, more practically, often share a centimetre band, which means they can share a wardrobe.

Fabric and washing

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Reshape it while it is damp and it dries the way it was made. That takes a minute and it is the only part of the process that really matters.

Who it is for

Filed under everyday companion, and chosen here for a birthday and no particular reason at all more than anything else. It reads as considered rather than expensive, which is usually the harder thing to get right in a gift.

About A Flying Wish

Two things happen in this shop. We make outfits for plush companions, and we stock the companions themselves, Bashful Pink Bunny included. Keeping both under one roof is the only way to be certain that what we sell to dress a plush actually fits the plush we sold.
