Jellycat Bashful Petal Bunny

A beige bunny at 31 cm, Jellycat Bashful Petal Bunny belongs to the part of Jellycat’s range made for holding.

What it is like to hold

The fur is the soft, slightly weighted kind that has made Jellycat’s animals hard to put down. The colourway is beige, and the face is stitched rather than printed, so it keeps its expression through washing and through years of being carried about.

Measurements and fit

The height is 31 cm. That single figure is what our outfit listings are matched against, which is why it is printed here rather than a rough category. If you are buying a garment at the same time, it is the only measurement you need.

The collection it belongs to

Bashful Petal Bunny belongs to Jellycat’s Bashful range, which is the part of the catalogue we stock most deeply because it is the part customers come back for. Pieces from one range tend to sit well together, so if you are building a set rather than buying a single companion it is worth looking across the rest of it. We list what is in stock on the Bashful pages, and the sizes are given in centimetres throughout so you can see at a glance which of our outfits will fit which piece.

Made from, and looking after it

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Kept out of direct sunlight the colour holds for years. Fading is the one kind of wear that cannot be undone, and a sunny windowsill does it faster than handling ever will.

Choosing it as a gift

It sits on the everyday companion side of the shop and is most often bought for a birthday and no particular reason at all. The kind of thing that ends up staying, rather than being put away after a week.

Where this sits in our shop

A Flying Wish stocks Jellycat plush alongside the outfits we design and make ourselves. Every piece is designed with purpose, made to fit many beloved plush companions, and the two halves of the shop are meant to be used together. Bashful Petal Bunny is one of the plush our outfits are cut to fit, and the size guide sets out which pieces work with which band.
