Ivory Pleated Tulle Dress Fits Jellycat 28cm Plush

An ivory dress with a finely pleated tulle skirt over a lined bodice, plain at the top so the pleating carries the whole design. The pleats are pressed rather than gathered, which is what keeps them even after the dress has been on and off a few times. Among clothes for jellycat bear shapes this is the dressiest thing we make and the least fussy to put on, one piece, over the head, nothing to fasten. The tulle is soft to the touch, not the stiff kind.

Will it fit your plush?

Measure your friend from the top of the head to the bottom, sitting or standing as they normally do. This one is cut for a plush about 28cm tall. It is designed around Jellycat proportions and fits other plush of the same height just as well.

Getting it on

The dress pulls on over the head and settles at the shoulders. Ears and long limbs go through first, then the fabric drops into place. Nothing here is tight enough to squash a soft plush, and nothing is loose enough to slide off.

Looking after it

Hand wash cool and treat the lace gently; no soaking, no twisting. Lift it out, press between towels and dry flat. A cool iron on the lining side only, if needed.
