Grey Flower Knit Sweater Fits Jellycat 18cm Plush

A grey knitted sweater with a single black flower at the chest, ribbed at the collar, cuffs and hem. One motif on a plain ground is the most reliable design at this scale, anything busier turns to noise from a foot away. A sweater with teddy bear proportions has to clear a wide head and then recover its shape, which a fine-gauge knit does and a woven top never will. Wash it flat, reshape it damp, and never hang it wet.

Will it fit your plush?

Measure your friend from the top of the head to the bottom, sitting or standing as they normally do. This one is cut for a plush about 18cm tall. It is designed around Jellycat proportions and fits other plush of the same height just as well.

Getting it on

Pull it over the head first, then guide each arm through. The knit has enough give to pass over a wide head and spring back. Nothing here is tight enough to squash a soft plush, and nothing is loose enough to slide off.

Looking after it

Hand wash cool and never wring the knit. Press the water out between two towels, reshape it on a flat surface and let it dry there, hanging a knit while it is heavy with water is what stretches it out of shape.
