Colourblock Stripe Knit Fits Jellycat 18cm Plush

A knitted sweater colourblocked in pink and black, split cleanly across the chest with ribbed cuffs and hem. The join is worked in the round rather than seamed, which is why the colour change is a clean line and not a ridge. A teddy bear knit sweater in two strong colours reads far better from a distance than any small motif could. A hard colour line also survives being photographed badly, where a delicate motif simply disappears into the fur. Wash it flat, never hang it while it is wet, and reshape it as it dries.

Will it fit your plush?

Measure your friend from the top of the head to the bottom, sitting or standing as they normally do. This one is cut for a plush about 18cm tall. It is designed around Jellycat proportions and fits other plush of the same height just as well.

Getting it on

Each piece goes on separately and can be worn alone or mixed with the rest of the wardrobe. Nothing here is tight enough to squash a soft plush, and nothing is loose enough to slide off.

Looking after it

Hand wash cool and never wring the knit. Press the water out between two towels, reshape it on a flat surface and let it dry there, hanging a knit while it is heavy with water is what stretches it out of shape.
