Candy Stripe Knit Sweater Fits Jellycat 18cm Plush

A pink and white candy-striped sweater knitted in a fine gauge, with ribbed cuffs and a ribbed hem. The stripes are knitted in rather than printed, so they will not crack or fade at the fold, and they run horizontally, which makes a small garment look wider and less stalk-like. A sweater for jellycat shapes has to clear a wide head, and this one does because the whole thing gives. Wash it flat and never hang it wet, or the hem will grow.

Will it fit your plush?

Measure your friend from the top of the head to the bottom, sitting or standing as they normally do. This one is cut for a plush about 18cm tall. It is designed around Jellycat proportions and fits other plush of the same height just as well.

Getting it on

Pull it over the head first, then guide each arm through. The knit has enough give to pass over a wide head and spring back. Nothing here is tight enough to squash a soft plush, and nothing is loose enough to slide off.

Looking after it

Hand wash cool and never wring the knit. Press the water out between two towels, reshape it on a flat surface and let it dry there, hanging a knit while it is heavy with water is what stretches it out of shape.
