Red Heart Lace Dress Fits Jellycat 28cm Plush

A red dress worn under a cream lace apron worked with small hearts, finished with a lace bonnet and a red bow. The hearts are worked into the lace itself rather than printed onto it, which is why they survive washing and why the apron has weight where a printed one would hang limp. Among stuffed animal dresses this is the most hand-finished thing we cut. The apron ties at the back and lifts off completely, leaving a plain red dress underneath. Hand wash cool, no soaking, and dry it flat away from direct heat.

Will it fit your plush?

Measure your friend from the top of the head to the bottom, sitting or standing as they normally do. This one is cut for a plush about 28cm tall. It is designed around Jellycat proportions and fits other plush of the same height just as well.

Getting it on

The dress pulls on over the head and settles at the shoulders. Ears and long limbs go through first, then the fabric drops into place. Nothing here is tight enough to squash a soft plush, and nothing is loose enough to slide off.

Looking after it

Hand wash cool and treat the lace gently; no soaking, no twisting. Lift it out, press between towels and dry flat. A cool iron on the lining side only, if needed.
