Mustard Satin Pinafore Dress Fits Jellycat 28cm Plush

A mustard satin pinafore with a gathered skirt, worn with a yellow bow and a small shoulder bag. Mustard and satin together could easily go heavy, so the cut is kept plain, no lace, no trim, nothing but the sheen of the cloth and the fall of the gathers. A mini pinafore dress drops straight over the head and sits on the shoulders, which makes it the easiest shape in the range to put on. The bag lifts off and the straps need no adjusting.

Will it fit your plush?

Measure your friend from the top of the head to the bottom, sitting or standing as they normally do. This one is cut for a plush about 28cm tall. It is designed around Jellycat proportions and fits other plush of the same height just as well.

Getting it on

The dress pulls on over the head and settles at the shoulders. Ears and long limbs go through first, then the fabric drops into place. Nothing here is tight enough to squash a soft plush, and nothing is loose enough to slide off.

Looking after it

Hand wash cool with a mild detergent, reshape while damp and dry flat away from direct heat. The cotton blend keeps its shape best when it is not wrung out.

Made by A Flying Wish

We sew these ourselves in small runs. The fit is worked out from the height of the plush rather than from a label, so it travels across brands. Made for everyday play, not for a shelf.
