Jellycat Bashful Blossom Cream Bunny

Jellycat Bashful Blossom Cream Bunny is 31 cm of cream bunny, and the weight of it is the first thing anyone notices.

The piece itself

Pick Bashful Blossom Cream Bunny up and the weight is the first thing you notice: enough to feel substantial, not enough to be awkward in a child’s arms. The colourway runs cream, and the pile is brushed in one direction so it catches the light.

Measurements and fit

Bashful Blossom Cream Bunny measures 31 cm. Heights are taken from the base to the top of the head rather than the tip of an ear, which is the figure the size guide lists, so a shelf or a cot space can be judged before it arrives.

Where it sits in the Jellycat range

Within Jellycat’s catalogue Bashful Blossom Cream Bunny belongs to Bashful, and that is the useful thing to know when you are choosing a second one. A range shares its finish and its proportions, so pieces from the same family photograph well together and, more practically, often share a centimetre band, which means they can share a wardrobe.

Fabric and washing

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. That is the whole of it. It is worth following, because heat is what turns a soft plush into a stiff one, and no amount of brushing afterwards brings the pile back.

Suitability

It sits on the everyday companion side of the shop and is most often bought for a birthday and no particular reason at all. The kind of thing that ends up staying, rather than being put away after a week.

Where this sits in our shop

Two things happen in this shop. We make outfits for plush companions, and we stock the companions themselves, Bashful Blossom Cream Bunny included. Keeping both under one roof is the only way to be certain that what we sell to dress a plush actually fits the plush we sold.
