Jellycat Bartholomew Bear 'Heartthrob'

Jellycat Bartholomew Bear ‘Heartthrob’ stands 26 cm tall, a red bear with the quiet heft Jellycat is known for.

A closer look

What distinguishes Bartholomew Bear ‘Heartthrob’ is the texture. It is the same everywhere you touch it, with no hard seams and no stiff patches, and the colourway of red is matched across the ears and paws rather than left to chance at the cutting stage.

How big it is

At 26 cm, Bartholomew Bear ‘Heartthrob’ is easy to size up against an outfit. Measure your own plush from the base to the top of the head and compare the two numbers directly. The size guide carries the full table, and every garment we make names the height it is cut for.

Part of the Bartholomew Bear range

Within Jellycat’s catalogue Bartholomew Bear ‘Heartthrob’ belongs to Bartholomew Bear, and that is the useful thing to know when you are choosing a second one. A range shares its finish and its proportions, so pieces from the same family photograph well together and, more practically, often share a centimetre band, which means they can share a wardrobe.

Materials and care

Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Nothing here needs special products. Warm water and a mild detergent are what the fabric was finished with in the first place, and anything stronger works against it.

Choosing it as a gift

It sits on the everyday companion side of the shop and is most often bought for Valentine’s Day and a birthday. The kind of thing that ends up staying, rather than being put away after a week.

Where this sits in our shop

A Flying Wish began with outfits and grew into the plush that wear them. Bartholomew Bear ‘Heartthrob’ is stocked here because it fits that idea, and because the pieces we design are made to last as long as the companion they are made for.
