At 14 cm, Jellycat Amuseables Coffee Cup is a white cup from Jellycat’s homeware and stationery range.
The piece itself
The colouring is white and brown, and the piece is made to be used rather than displayed, which is the distinction that matters with this part of the range. The finish is even and the printing is properly registered, which is not a given at this price.
Measurements and fit
At 14 cm, Amuseables Coffee Cup is easy to size up against an outfit. Measure your own plush from the base to the top of the head and compare the two numbers directly. The size guide carries the full table, and every garment we make names the height it is cut for.
Part of the Amuseables range
This one comes from the Amuseables range. Jellycat design in ranges rather than one piece at a time, and it shows: the proportions, the face and the finish carry across, which is why collectors tend to buy two or three from the same family rather than one from each. Our own outfits are cut to centimetre bands for the same reason, so a piece bought a year later still has something in the wardrobe that fits it.
Made from, and looking after it
Polyester fabric with polyester filling. Hand wash only. Do not tumble dry. Spot cleaning handles most of what happens day to day, and a full wash is rarely needed more than once or twice a year unless it has been somewhere muddy.
Choosing it as a gift
It reads as amuseables food and drink, which makes it an easy choice for a birthday and no particular reason at all, and it is one of the pieces people come back for a second time once they have given the first.
Why we stock it
Our outfits are cut, sewn and finished by us, not bought in, and the plush we stock are chosen because our pieces fit them. Amuseables Coffee Cup is one of those. If you are buying both at once, the centimetre band on this page is the number the garment listings are matched against.
